Ground Score; General Edition, is a suite of 5 diptychs rendered as etching and 4-color lithograph prints. Each work juxtaposes historical lot diagrams sourced from the Bellefontaine Cemetery, with present-day ground portraits from coinciding lot locations. The body of work is a meditation on intimate and arbitrary record keeping, phases in land use and ownership, as well as mortality. Each selection considers how memorials and burial practices compete with natural processes to selectively preserve or discard matter and memory.

The works were supported and produced during the artist’s 2025/26 residency at the Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum in Saint Louis, Missouri.
